Good MP3 Splitter?

I've tried searching but couldn't find anything..

What's a good program to split sets up with? I currently use mp3 trackmaker but it's fairly limited as it doesn't like certain MP3 formats.
Bare in mind though that the majority of the time I won't be using a cue, I'll be using winamp and trying my best to pick out the transitions.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Looks better in Linux, but I'm assuming your on Windows and it works just as well.

you could always use applications like sony soundforge or steinberg wavelab. pretty much anything that can record and edit audio.

if you have a cue for a set, foobar 2000 is the programm you want to use (yes it's really called foobar 2000)

I haven't looked into it at all, but it seems as though foobar limits what you can split into. Meaning, you can only split to like 256kbps VBR. If you have a 320kbps live set, you can't split it into 320kbps parts.

If you write a cue, Medieval Cue Splitter is funderful.

the best...is Fission I'm using with my Mac, awesome program and you can do a whole lot of shitz with it, but you'll have to buy it. It's a one time 30 bucks off their official site, but well worth it.

you can also download a demo version to try it out...
