I haven't seen this on any official news network. This isn't a nutcase...this is the sixth man to walk on a moon and an established scientist admitting this.

He claims that aliens have been visiting this planet for sixty years and that governments are in constant contact with them and have been covering it up since the end of WW2.

It's a great interview and he makes some excellent points. Wow...do you believe him?

Call me crazy, but I think it's quite ignorant to assume we're the only intelligent beings out there, but I've been somewhat skeptical about whether or not UFOs visit Earth, abduct people, etc.

What do you gusy make of this crazy shit? He suggests that the governments are gearing up towards FULL DISCLOSURE. The UK has already started to release major documents and some of them are quite convincing.

it's hilarious how he describes them as being short with small bodies and large heads and that their intentions with us are not hostile.

Why would this respected man make this shit up people? Why?

I don't know how to directly post the video, but for anyone curious please go watch this recent collection of footage.

NASA pretty much don't comment on anything anymore. They neither confirm, nor deny, which is really suggesting the obvious.

Now, if ANYONE can give me a detailed explanation as to what in THE FUCK those things are, I'll give you a dollar.

CNN posted something about this over the weekend, but did not list any 'proof' comments he may have had. It was just written as if it were his opinion, almost- which made me wonder what the point of the article was. I'm sure everyone has an opinion, what is he basing it on?

Well he's saying that he was briefed on them, just like all the other astronauts and higher ups in the US government. And because of his scientific credentials (areospace engineering, etc), he's been involved in committees and research about them.

What I find interesting is how he says that full disclosure is coming soon. The Brits have already opened up some of their archives, the Catholic Church has said that the existence of other life doesn't contradict the faith and some governments (Belgians, Brazilians) already fully admit to their existence.

For whatever reason, I just can't see Barack Obama or any future American president having a press conference to tell us there are aliens out there who are way more advanced, but you never know.

In the interview you posted, he did not say he was offically briefed. He only said that he 'sort of briefed', which leads me to believe he has talked to people in the know.

I can fully admit to the existence of God, but that's not proof. If they admit to their existence, where is the proof? I don't even care if Obama has a press conference where he said he talked to an alien and can confirm they exist. I want to see actual irrefutable proof. Stick the sucker in a zoo next to the polar bears for me to gawk at, and then we'll talk.

Yes he does allude to people he's been involved with and is quite humorous about how he's sure the US government doesn't knock anyone off who talks about this kind of stuff anymore. He was dead serious though...does anyone think he's lying?

The UFO footage I posted from last June is a little jolting. Watch it! Clocked at 1500 and then 7000 (!!!!) miles per hour and 1.5 miles in diameter. I'm sorry people but we just do not possess that technology yet.

Watch the footage. No it isn't 100%, but keep in mind that nobody can explain what those objects are and every official US government agency refuses to comment on it.

it's days like these when I wish I had kept up my CSIS application (9 stages and 5 interviews over a year fuck you!!) so that one day I could get a look at all of our secret files.

Is it just me or do people not really take this stuff seriously at all? I know it's easier just to pretend we're alone, but alien contact and possible relations would drastically change our society forever.

Now I'm more certain as to why Bush was so adamant about the weaponisation of space.

Yeah, it's called being sceptical. I humoured you and watched the vid. Summary: a bunch of white circles are visible moving above Earth's atmosphere. They show how they surrounded the MIR space station, yet MIR wasn't able to take 1 decent shot of them. NASA couldn't do better than "dancing white circles signifying intelligence". Which part of that signifies intelligence exactly? This video is just chock full of speculation. I bet they don't want to comment on it because *gasp* they don't know wtf it is, just like you or I don't. But that doesn't make them alien spacecraft.

P.S. I do believe there's intelligent life out there, I just don't think we've come in contact with it due to the massive size of the universe.

You don't find your skepticism being cooled a bit by the fact that those things are 1.5 miles in diameter, appear out of nowhere and are travelling at speeds estimated at 7000 miles per hour? I was a little surprised by the narrator's use of "death ray" or whatever, but that thing changes direction so fast. I don't really know what to make of it either, but the fact that many governments have already come forward (the Belgians, Brazilians, French) and the UK is releasing some of their sensitive documents, the Catholic Church took an open stance to them recently....it looks like it's coming together for one day in the future. Who knows?

I watched it again...look at second part of the montage. One appears and is travelling at 1500mph, there is a flash from the surface, the thing changes direction suddenly at 7000mph and whips out of the way as something is projected toward it from the surface.

Nothing "natural" does that.

And the images aren't coming from MIR either. It's from a US space shuttle that's trying to locate MIR. As far as I know, you can't just make fake footage like that and the objects are captured at really long distances.

I'm not saying there's anything fake about it. I just have a hard time believing it's alien spacecraft.

How do you know? Who knows what it could be. I think it's more likely that it's some natural phenomenon that hasn't been discovered yet rather than aliens.

BTW, why do aliens always travel in oval/circle-shaped UFOs? This pattern of reasoning that humans have attached to aliens has always intrigued me. There's no aerodynamic reason (no atmosphere in space) for it to be this way, and I can't understand why they'd be circular instead of millions of other possible shapes.

Also, why do people always attach this mysterious God-like quality of not revealing themselves to humans? I understand the human governments' desire to keep this under wraps, but why do the aliens themselves not show themselves? If humans ever conquered space flight and came to another planet, I doubt we'd be very covert about it.

Seriously I think if aliens ever make contact with humans, it's going to be obvious, and it's going to be in the form of a gigantic vagina.
