Who is underrated?

Out of curiosity and maybe even to give us a reason to pick up a mix or check out a new venue or dj...

Who do you think is the most underrated or Toronto's "hidden gem"

politics aside...

feel free to post mixes, upcoming sets etc...

politics aside...

Arthur Oskan and Jamie Kidd are Toronto's gems for me.

I'll post more as I think of them

edit:

NuEra !!! I got a CD of his from a friend a few years back and thought it was absolutely sick.

You! lol

Capo, I love this thread idea, hopefully it delivers... As Im sure Toronto has a lot of great talent I have yet to discover.

Jamie Kidd is my Toronto Gem, but I do not think he is too underrated.

Dennis Hahn and Tygon

I don't know of anyone in GTA area who can put together a set from various genres and have it flow so well as these two guys. (Other than Mark Oliver)
And Tygon's technical skills are pretty crazy

Been a fan of The Dukes, nice to see them playing again (havn't seen them in ages) with Alex Smoke in a few weeks.

RobbG... although he is getting international exposure at this point I feel it is only the tip of the iceberg for him.

I never thought i would one day be writting this but here it goes ...

I agree with Yohan 100%

1 more name i would add and that is Andrew. Since the day he played Kiss at System Sound Bar ... i have been a fan of his.

They are all great, but I wouldn't call them underrated. They get loads of local recognition, starting to get international recognition (releases on Hidden Agenda/etc), playing big festivals (Eclipse) and tend to get a pretty solid following that show up wherever they play.

They are not overrated, but not underrated either.
