anything better than roommates.com? Anyone have any experience with doing it through craigslist? any tips?

Craigslist works, just make sure to sit down and talk with the person for considerable amount of time before you make a decision. Make sure you'll be at least somewhat compatible. Run it like a job interview or a casting call. If they seem like a lamer within the first few sentences, cut 'em off, tell them thanks for coming, and show 'em the door.
