Question Sexy, Funky House?

Okay, so im spinnin at this new club in Oslo on friday, and they want sexy, funky house.. I have loads of sexy deep, prog and tribal house, but little funky house..

Can anyone give me any pointers to what is fresh and new on that front nowadays?

ive been on beatport, theres no "funky house"-section.. u have vocal house and disco house, and ive looked thru most of the new tracks there, but i cant find anything good..

edit: okay, how about this then, is stuff like Steve Angello, Pryda and Danny Tenaglia considered funky house? I am seriously having trouble finding out what is considered to be "funky" house nowadays.. I mean, is latin house funky? cus i have shitloads of house with sax and guitars and housepiano..

The reason why Im even considering asking ppl on TA for help - not that i dont think u know music, its just that youre a bunch of assholes - is because i was supposed to play in the room where they play a bit harder and deeper house, but due to some blabla i was bumped up to the main room, and i said yes, even tho im not into that much commercial stuff..

Is funky sexy house even popular anymore? It was HUGE at the turn of the century, but ever since the trampy nu-electro 'doosh doosh RRRRRRIPPP-FARRTT doosh' variety got big, not so much.

+1 to Spirit Catcher

Although it's harder to come by now, it's still available. Just play some light hearted Prog House as well, as that seems to mesh well with the funky stuff.

Don't be afraid to go back a couple years, as a lot of really good funky house wen't pretty far under the radar.

AN-2 is another artist I'd suggest you check out. Specifically their track 'Venus'.

+1 to An-2, "Road Through The Rain" is brilliant.

Here's one I really like:

Deelat - Wet Indiez

Jean Claude Ades - Someday
68 Beats - Replay The Night (Olav Basoski Rootz Dub)

Was this track on the first 'Crydamoure - Waves'?

Also, Wotyzoid. Listen to AN-2 - Lazy Sun, it sounds like it came right out of Daft Punk's Discovery album.
