Dihydrogen Monoxide found on Mars

http://geology.com/nasa/water-on-mars.shtml

Laboratory tests aboard NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander have identified water in a soil sample. The lander's robotic arm delivered the sample Wednesday to an instrument that identifies vapors produced by the heating of samples.

"We have water," said William Boynton of the University of Arizona, lead scientist for the Thermal and Evolved-Gas Analyzer, or TEGA. "We've seen evidence for this water ice before in observations by the Mars Odyssey orbiter and in disappearing chunks observed by Phoenix last month, but this is the first time Martian water has been touched and tasted."

So we got as far as finding out there is water on the Moon & on Mars..
Now we need to find out if there really is something out there in our lifetime.

Yes, but I'm sure you hear a lot of things.

From people that don't exist.

For living on or for water?

For water, yeah there's loads of it, but it's really warm though. And for living it should be ok providing we all wear sunglasses and factor 15 suncream.

True story

Maybe you should just never ever talk about astronomy again. I lose the last ounce of pride of being human when you do that.
