Trifonic - Emergence (Free Album)
I found this after listening to their track Parks on Fire which is featured on Hybrid's lastest mix compilation and is imo one of the standout tracks. Was very shocked to find that you can download a 192kb version of their album for free from their own website :
http://www.trifonic.com/store/
There is also an option to pay them for it or to buy a CD copy.
It's a great album and is well worth the download. Reminds me a lot in parts of BT - This Binary Universe but without being as clinical and what some perceive to be souless. So yeah if you are into glitchy downtempo breaks that doesn't lose all sense of melody then give it a go.
thank you for bringing this to my attention, its really good!!
been getting me through some dull days at work!
Funny, I only see this now. I just went on a hunt for some information about them this morning and found their site.
Really gorgeous stuff!
Hey, cool.
I knew this thread would turn back up. I wasnt lying when i said it was a quality album!
good music, this.
can anyone recommend me some more stuff like this? ive really been getting into chilled out/glitchy/ambient music really, i need more!!
Nice, I'm really enjoying the album so far. Thanks for the heads up.

This is some seriously good stuff. Kinda like Jon Hopkins meets BT meets Orbital. I really need to invest some money in this.
Sooner Or Later & Vacuum Tree are my favourites.

| High quality files. No DRM. |
Nice stuff
Check the "Brian Eno" thread for some of my recommendations (and some other excellent ones as well!)

Wow, this is a really great album.... let alone a free one.
I really like the natural instruments' sound combined with the chopped/glitched-up drums. Great atmosphere in these tracks. Definite keeper.
just got this album based solely from the hybrid cd soundsystem 01. I wouldnt be surprised if they used BT's stutter program because it really sounds similar, and thats a very good thing.
Scott Pagano is credited as a member of the group, and I remember his name popping up in the credits of the This Binary Universe DVD.
Yeah, the glitchy parts are highly reminiscent of TBU.
I donated $5 to the site, which is still a ridiculously small sum for a full length album of this quality.
I just noticed this thread and apparently I had some bad luck, the downloadlinks are offline. Can someone please upload the album to a mirror somewhere?

Trifonic released a new album a few months ago - Ninth Wave. Unfortunately, no free download this time, but you can listen to the full album at soundcloud/spotify.

Cheers
I enjoyed the new album, but it didn't stand out as much as their debut. Should probably give it another listen.
