Baseball appreciation thread

Is life really getting depressing once you start to enjoy watching this sport on tv?

No one in the history of the earth has ever enjoyed watching this sport on tv before the age of 18. Why? Because it's boring. Well, was.

Theres way to many strike outs now. Back in the early 90's I remember everyone was getting a base hit at least.

I wouldn't say its overly complex, cricket for example is much more so. But you do need to be introduced to it by someone who knows whats going on to be able to appreciate it.
