Example of track
Below is a link to a track I am currently working on.
It is not arranged just a quick arrangement to demo what it sounds like. I would love someone to tell me is it mastered right? does the mix sound ok?
I mixed it to 0.0
ran it through ozone and exiters and stuff
Also if you think the ideas are worth pursueing.

VERY annoying track
Sounds like some Roland TR-303 DEMO
Quality wise, it lacks highs, mid sounds a bit muddy and it lacks bass (though i dunno if bass was intended)
Nice patches though, but as yuo mentioned yourself you will need to arrange

Yeah i just threw all the samples together in a rough order annoyed me after a few hours on repeat lol.
I'm glad you like the patches i made them all well not all but the hoover and sub bass on z3ta and reasons malstrom.
Im interested you think it lacks bass because I dont know about sub basses see my previous post. I have put a sub bass in and turned it up as well i only have small monitors and my fried said it would rock on bigger speakers. Hmm any advise on boosting the bottom end?
the highs are turned down because everyone said my music sounded old which i agree with but i thought it might be to open hi hats i used the old chiche umts umts umts you know. so i tried to filter them down and phase them and stuff.
Thanks for feedback. Do you think it could be turned into a track or shall i leave it alone?
yo this is terrible

amateurish......oh wait this is actually childish
Thanks again for very helpful advice guys!
Patches are ok'ish but i think you will find that when exploring the potential of this track further you will move to Techno territory rather than Trance. I sort of feel your angle where you want to head to, there is some kind of hook hidden in there (though it's currently far far away)
My 2ct's: Listen to a lot of Deep Techno tracks, build a Tribal type minimalistic groove dramatize your hook a lot more and build up to it only 2x or 3x in a 5 min track rather than 200 times in 1min loop.
Also start counting 1-16 and respect the flow of dance. f you take all of this into account i will be prepared to give you further feedback on your next version (which should ben be posted in the producer promotion subforum)

Needs lots and lots of work. If this was my production i would clear the slate and start again
So very many annoying sounds
yeah I agree Im going to wipe clean. Ill explain why i made this i really make melodic euphoric trance. A lot of harder interesting glitch packed trance is coming out with heavy low ends and it really gets me going I wanted to have a go. Maybe i stick with what i know eh? lol
anarchy!
I pretty much agree with Raphie here, study the structure of other songs you like and try to keep it together in yours. About making the over all sound better, there's probably a little road to walk in choosing sounds, mixing, applying effects like compression and so on, but those things are great fun to learn and experiment with. So keep working. Also check out earlier threads about mixing, kicks, compression etc. in this forum, which I find is a invaluable source of relevant information.
/Cheers
And I really don't see the point of being rude to beginners, we have all been there...
