Whoosh sounds for breakdowns

Im curious what everyone uses for this. I have a djm 800 and currently use the filter and echo in combo to make one but id like to see exactly how some other people create some sick builds with their mixers.

Lets hear them!

i actually plug my headphones into the sub microphone jack and then i just say "WOOOOOOOSSSHHHHHH" with a big reverb and some eq

if you want to be more advanced, you can change the amount of time you sustain the "OOOO" before the "SSSHHHH" and affect the length of the total woosh.

You could even say "EPIC WHOOOSSHHHH!!" just to make sure people know how epic it is.

I've been throwing in a few buildupy things using echo, reverb and a bit of a filter, all on the EFX1000. Fun fun.

Nothing beats a wet flange though.

This is what I use at the moment. What beat setting do you usually use? I usually use 1/2 and 2/1 curious what variations others use?

Also what technique do you employ for pulling off said effect? Mine aren't sounding quite like I want them/need them to be so trying to pick something up I may be over/under doing.

Much appreciated!
