Good shit, homez. Congratsamundo. Opening for Foss and Larry, definitely something to be proud of.

OK....

One more time...

Other than Clovis...

WHO THE HELL ARE THESE PEOPLE???

Posted by refuge on Aug-05-2008 07:30:

Foss is a respected local and international techno DJ hailing from Shy Town and England, and Crazy Larry is a Wagon Repair artist/DJ/producer living in the states. Crazy Motamedi They're not your typical household DJs that's for sure.

Me and Foss are gonna open for Larry going b2b

As for the unknowns...

Lee Foss is from Chicago, where he was a very well known local DJ helping to bring in artists from Europe for his own parties as well as holding down 2 hip-hop and funk weekly residencies. He moved to LA a few months ago to help us expand this little techno scene.

Larry is probably not very well known around here, but he's produced tracks with Pier Bucci under the "Glacier" guise released on Wagon Repair, and he's been playing around the US for a while.

larry is from denver and the founder of the promotion company uddermaddness - pretty much singlehandedly bringing some of the sickest talent to denver in the past two years imo - jami jones, konrad black, gui boratto, radioslave, michael mayer, booka shade (twice), gaiser, ame, jesse rose (twice), james holden...list goes on.

also was one of the promoters who threw cheap sunglasses party @ wmc this year and the temp tattoo's party @ demf.

haven't seen a live set of his in awhile (just dj sets) so i imagine it's different that before but it should be good, he's an interesting character.

Thats the plan. I'm fine playing once a month if that one time is proper. I get enough after-party deck time to get my fix.
