When you travel to other countries...

What do you miss from home the most, besides friends, family, your partner or something within your house, like a bed or couch?

Me, I miss our potato chips/crisps. Chips in other countries seem to suck.

Being Australian, how is it possible for you not to travel overseas?

Lamb.

Both times I've been away for a decent amount of time I've always had lamb hankerings, usually send an email home to get my mum to cook a lamb roast the day I arrive back.

My cats.

I wish they could've gone to Jamaica with me; I would've gotten those little bead things tied into their hair. And smoked a Cuban cigar with them.

depends where you go mate, but I've found that lamb cooked in spanish restaurants is pretty awesome. It's obviously less 'natural' taste of lamb cos of the herbs & garlic used but it's tasty none the less. Always look forward to having it cooked like that actually rather than my usual ways back home.

Personally, a good pillow. A rested me is a happy me & they always suck in hotels.

It's been almost 20 years since I last travelled abroad... but I remember I was irate because no one seemed to understand the words that came out of my mouth.

Though I rarely miss anything else when I'm away. I've never traveled when it wasn't my desire to travel.
