Sounds Like Featuring Trent Cantrelle-Gryphon this Saturday 8/9
After a solid kickoff last week in LA of the Sounds like residency at Avaland, Trent will be coming across the land to lay his signature sound at the Gryphon.
We will be rocking it late, im really excited to be able to do this just 2 weeks after the launch in LA.

trent has been on fire in the studio, most of the music he will be playing are all edited for the sounds like theme and sound. come check it out, like the 3000+ people in LA dis last week, it was quite impressive.
i should have a few comps for the show pm me and i will distribute in the order i receive them.
Ugh, Wantickets....I just finally settled my dispute with them last month from the Club Space WMC fiasco where they shut down Space and didn't let anyone in. I did a chargeback for over $300 (3 tickets) and Wantickets tried to fight the chargeback and actually re-billed me. My CC company ended up siding with me. I hate wantickets with a passion

I had a great time @ Trent and the music was off the chain... but everyone needs to know something that happened to me at Gryphon.
I started a bar tab as I always do and gave up my credit card to the bar tender. I kept track of how many drinks my girlfriend and I drank and at the end of the night I asked them for my check. The bartender "fish" as he called himself, ran my card though for $126.00 and did not give me a breakdown of the drinks on a separate piece of paper. So I had asked him for a breakdown and was about to tip $25.00 and total it out.
When he did provide me the total, they had auto tipped 20% already! I wonder how many people did not ask for a breakdown and tipped double! I being an ex promoter and bar manager feel this is stealing and should not be tolerated at any bar or establishment. I am very hesitant to return to Gryphon again after this.

they did that to me too before 2, i think its just the bartenders trying to be slick. really the credit slip should say "ADDitional tip" so you know that the tip is already worked into the price.
all of u that missed this party, no worries we will be doing it again soon, I will say it was one of the best nights there, as told to us by many, rocked it till 6:50 am, over 6 hours of TC madness, dirty pornstars getting naked in the booth, plus the crowd was diggin every second, we couldn't of asked for more.
working on the next date(s) now down here. sounds like will have a home here soon!
