Video Editing

a bit off topic i know but i'm charting in unknown territories here and wanted to know if any of these video editing programs resemble music sequencers and which ones?

i had a very old version of Adobe Audition and liked it but would love to know what's currently out there.

this would be for simple home use, nothing crazy just would like to sequence some video and some speed to some music. cheers

+1. The old version used to look like the old version of acid, just with a video track. There's quite a few post production studios that use Vegas too.
