Recommendation need (PS3 Game)

Anybody know of a good shooting game that can be played with 2 players? They all seemed to be single player games. Thanks.

Thanks for the help Capitalizt, but thats not the game i am interested in. Something like COD4 or Battlefield bad company but that has multi-player mode.... (not internet multiplayer, but more than 1 controller multi-player)

huh.. Call of duty 4 has a co-op "single" player mode?

I don't think CoD 4 has any sort of co-op. All split screen multiplayer is versus (unless you do teams, of course)

If you want something co-op, try Resistance or Haze.

I think one of the Rainbow Six: Vegas games can do it.

They are becoming harder to find now that internet multiplayer is more popular. That being said, there are a bunch of 2 and 3 player games available from the Playstation Store. 1942 and Commando are both examples of old school top down scroller/ shooters.

I played that for the first time yesterday. I really wasn't expecting anything but my friend pressured me into trying it. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary, pretty generic stuff, but decent nonetheless. The movement was pretty fluid and it didn't feel so blocky and restrictive which was surprising for a console shooter.

I heard Army of Two is ONLY good if you play it with somebody (which fits your situation perfectly), but yes, due to the fact that its still rather new, it probably still retails for an ugly $59.99.

Still have yet to beat it myself, but that sucks ass. Its becoming a trend with FPS games, since there is such a high chance of a sequel being green-lit.
