The North Sea - Ecosteric Trance

I approached mixing this track completely different then I normally do and I kinda like what I learned. Check it out. I think it can be longer, maybe a break in the middle.

Hmm, I like this. The beginning is actually my favorite part, since after that you go into more typical trance sounds rather than the (IMO) more interesting ones you used for the intro.

Still, the rest of the track is a bit outside the norm for trance these days, which is good. Mixing sounds a little muddled, like it might be heavy on the mids. Overall definitely an enjoyable track, though. Sounds like it would work well in a club.

Oh, and don't put a break in. The arrangement is good the way it is now.

Awesome, I was unsure about using the guitar so its nice to see you enjoyed the begining. Thanks!

I have to agree the intro is the best part. You shouldn't add a break because it will just make you sound like everyone else, and since it works so well without one why would you? I think it would be cool if you had an ambient outro to. the mixing as MrJiveBoJingles said is a little off but it isn't affecting the track that much so even if you didn't change it, it would be fine.

Yeh I wasn't sure if it worked w/out a break honestly. I'm curious if you mean the mids are off like Jive said in terms of the mixing. I'll bring those down and I'm thinking the bass could be a bit more groovy or maybe even a rolling bass might fit better.
Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated.

And I like the ambient outro idea too, I was actually thinking about it as I was mixing but just never did it.

I like the beginning, I personally feel you should keep it Ambient the whole way through but its your track and your choice, I would just love to hear it without the trance sounds (Don't get me wrong, I'm still a trance fan...) Nevertheless, still a job well done! Keep it up

You know I really DID want to keep it ambient but I was lost so took the easy way out. Ambient is not easy for me to keep going (and sounding good) but because I like it so much my next track I'll try to stay way from the typical trance stuff.
