Lost producers returned?

What favorite producers of yours disappeared/went on hiatus for a long time but recently came back?(not counting unreleased back catalog stuff)
Some examples:
Kai Tracid
Hardfloor
DJ Sakin(returned 2006)
Marc Van Linden(but he went all mcprog)
Paul Hartnoll of Orbital(started producing solo a couple years after Orbital's breakup, check out his album The Ideal Condition)
Some have completely changed style, such as Juno Reactor, from psytrance to ethno-trance then to ethno-goth ambient type stuff.
Agnelli & Nelson(presents A&N project)(3 years of silence between Holding onto Nothing and Wear That Dress)
Still waiting on a comeback of DJ Tandu, is he still alive?

Binary Finary came back a few years ago at least for a bit.

Last I heard about BF was 2 years ago, they had their own label with several other artists on it and they put out their digital "Lost Tracks" back catalog album. Listened to it? It also appears TH Express was around as recently as 2002, they had switched from Eurodance to disco-house. Basic Element underwent a similar transformation when they came back last year, now they sound like a cross between italo-disco and electro house; italo-electro?
Actually it appears TH Express is still around(of course their singers have changed many times). Most recent single: Whatever I Do Wherever I go, and they're back to genuine Eurodance(very rarely heard nowdays).

Also a few other producers are hearkening back to the oldskool eurodance sound, albeit with a touch of electro and other modern elements, for example DCX - The Choice is Yours. Neo-eurodance? Another example, Fantasy Project - Stay(original mix). Also Aqua and Smile.dk have made comebacks(but don't you hate bubblegum dance?), and 2Unlimited(the original) is rumored to be too.

I wish Paradise Soul would make a comeback.

Mike & Stretch seem to have closed the project down.

Yet another recent artist who does what sounds close to true Eurodance: BPM, with the single Shocking The Dancefloor, in fact this almost sounds like Eurobeat(remember, that genre made in italy, but exported mainly to Japan)

Can't wait.

Don't forget the brilliant new collab between Haddaway and Dr. Alban (see some other thread on this forum). Now, if only (the producers behind) Cappella would get off their asses..

Let me get this straight? 2 Unlimited is releasing a new album?! They've been on tour for a while, I missed the chance to see them when they played here.
I wonder if they've been playing any new tracks amongst the classics?

As far as I know there's only been rumours of them getting back together, nothing like a tour or new tracks.. Where did you get the info they've been touring lately?

What I got from a fansite (posted September 2007, though)

To stop the false rumours about 2 Unlimited here are things you all must know :

*There won't be a new album of remixes or new remixes due to the low sales of the last CD/DVD "Greatest Remix Hits" released in Europe which was originally an Australian release.I have contacted the TOCO International and I learnt this new unsuccess puts a end to all projects for 2007.

*The executive producer Jean Paul De Coster who owns all rights on the name 2 Unlimited told me there won't be a new production,a new duo or something else.Byte Records in Belgium keeps the master tapes and copyrights on each of their artists only for business purposes with professional deejays and record companies worldwide.

*Jean Paul De Coster said too everyone was free to sing the songs of 2 Unlimited but not to use the band name which is protected and belongs to him. That's why Anita Doth sings the old songs around the world for some years but not under the name 2 Unlimited... It ends rumours to all people who believed she had a contract with Byte Records for years to represent 2 Unlimited.

*It's also not possible to book 2 Unlimited anymore, there is no one to represent the band today.

Although I've seen a news article last month or so stating they MIGHT prepare a comeback after all..

Friday 20.4.2007, 22 - 04, 6 @ Club Fever / Helsinki..

I'm 99% certain that they played in Sweden a few days before that, and the tour started a few weeks earlier in The Netherlands, but don't quote me on that.

And that's 2007 also, but it's not that long ago.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

On a sidenote, must admit that the Haddaway & Alban track lived up to it's name.

I don't know if it counts as being 'back,' but Platipus made notable mention of Union Jack performing at a particular festival (I think)- not sure what the long term plans are, though.

2000 And one took a long break between '97 & '04.

Hmm..

Wasn't that just Anita performing their tracks? I would be surprised if they both showed up.

Plus, it might just be that it was 2Unlimited 2.0, you know, with those two girls, Romy & Marion.

I really don't know, but I'm sure there wasn't a "2.0" in the name of the band.

:bump: Three Drives, or at least they had a single in 2005, "Evolution". Of course, Erik de Koning was a member of that group. He has a more recent solo single, "Dream Flight". Don't know about Ton Van Empel, though. There's also a remake of Greece 2000 by Those Usual Suspects(but it sounds almost nothing like the original)

DJ Encore made a comeback last year, and he's gotten trancier(and he doesn't sound like Cascada like the other Eurotrance artists have switched to) Looks like there was 5 years of silence between albums. "Out There" has an 80s electro vibe.

His new album sounds like crap imho. Stuff from 2002-2003 was way better
