Reason and dual core cpu

Well, my current song has started to reach the limits of my CPU (2.81GHz), so I just thought I would check the cpu usage of the cores to see if there where both being utilized, and only 1 of them was being used (CPU_1)

Is there a way to make reason use both cores, or does it not support this yet ? (Version 4, by the way)

adjust your buffer size on your soundcard, more delay. i think it already supports 2Cores but not 4. not sure of this tho. your project must be massive tho with a dualcore 2,81Ghz or maybe u have a bad soundcard? Have u learned from the manual how to make more efficient tracks? Less polyfoni, delete all unused matrix, use 6dB filters instead of 12dB where u can, stuff like that. less feedback on delays/reverb etc etc.

also read articles u can find in the stickys:

It's mainly down to a few combi's playing at the same time which are quite CPU intensive.

You could always sample one of the Combi parts and play it with the NN-XT.

It's not really a problem as such, was just curious if reason supported dual core or not, as it only appeared to be using one core on my PC.

It's not supported right now, but I'm sure it will be soon.
