Laura, since the moment you came into my life you have shown me what friendship is. Years later, with oceans travelled, miles of land covered, weekends in the black hole of camp shanahan, disastrous shopping trips to escape the drill, living in our basements, post-club photoshots, family rescues, hammertown parties, LLS playdates, 5 Croissants away from reality, ooVoo, streetcar adventures, long-distance counseling (Ibiza, to England, to Australia), Chinese karaoke (and the lonely man in the booth), and my favourite time ever - napdates (purr), and I cannot and never want to, imagine my life without you. Being away from you now has been the hardest of it all.

Though we've been best friends for quite some time now, I think this past year brought us closer together than we ever have been. I can't count the number of "I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING!!" moments we've had this year alone. And not just with simple things like "This dress is incredible", but much deeper things like "I've been fascinated with Egypt since I was a little kid, and it's number one of places I want to visit in the world".

I'm the person I am today b/c of your love, memories (both good and bad), and most definately your guidance. Thank you for everything...moreso, thank you for always sticking by me when I needed you most. I have no doubts that our friendship will last through this life and beyond. I love you!!

To one of my favourite Canucks. I have learned quickly that laura is someone you want to keep around as a friend. Good times in both NYC and Toronto thank you for taking care of me when I'm sick and shoving mroe alcohol down my throat when I am not thats a true friend!

The result of bottles and bottles of wine: stumbling drunkenly into the streets and getting hit by NYC cabs (no exaggeration, Francis ahd to save us from ourselves!)
