My thoughts exactly. This just looks like a combination of that and half the other Oakenfold compilations released over the years - just with many, many more absolutely wretched tunes.

The only Oakenfold anyone should ever need at this point is the Cream compilation.

I've made no bones about how much and how unashamedly I love classic Oakenfold. He's the same for me as Tiesto, PvD, or Armin are for others - he may have deteriorated to the level of a joke at this point, but I still like him.

2. 17 tracks in 80 minutes are not promising if you are looking for impressive mixing.

The problem is that a fanboy will already have all these tracks from his previous compilations so what's the point?

This has inspired me to give all the mixes from the 1999 EM World Tour a listen again. Damn he could really deliver a fantastic set back then
