Question about Abelton

As foolish as it may seem, I cant seem to figure out how to export my live set as an audiofile so that I can put on a CD...if any one knows how to do this please respond! Thanks!

You have to render it...

It's in the file menu.

Hey mate, your obiviously new to ableton. me too. i found it hard to to export live sets aswell.

what you need to do is download a free program from the net to change the wav file ableton produces into an mp3 file.( i use audacity with the lame plugin. its free!!) this will then change the file from 700mb down to 60ishmb.

you'll find loads of people on trance addict who will help you and loats who think your a dickhead for asking "stupid" questions don't take any notice..

if you need any more help just ask ableton is hard to get to grips with at the start..

I'm complete new to Ableton as well so I don't even know what rendering a file is yet, haha... But that being said chances are you probably have iTunes installed on your computer already. iTunes can convert the WAV file to MP3 as well and it's another free program. Just giving you another option.

If you have any iTunes questions I can probably help there...
