Cleaning up 1210's

Was hoping someone can recommend something for giving a nice prestine shine to my 1210's. Aint used them in a while, so they have gathered some dust and look a bit grubby.

Thanks in advance

I would also like to know. It's very difficult to dust in the tight spots near the base of the tone-arm. Would a simple dust wand be the best tool for this job?

i use one of those swiffer dust off things...they do a pretty good job of getting the dust in those small crevices.

Anyone know of a method of cleaning pitch sliders of 1200's and if they've achieved improvements from it??

I've heard (but have yet to try) compressed air if you don't want to disassemble the whole deck.

Compressed air is what i was thinking about as well... You can either buy one of those spraycans with compressed air, or use a compressor (carefully, ofcourse). It will get most of the dust out of there, but probably not everything...

I used compressed air. But I also used Windex. I sprayed windex into a soft cloth, and wiped the deck. Hehehe Than I also wiped the platted and the pitch. They got shiny again.

Cheapo way to clean those difficult areas is to get a cotton bud (preferably one of the pointed ones) the put some polish on it and scrub away. Works a treat but can take a while
