Steve Porter @ SKY - This Friday

Hailing from NYC via Boston, Mr. Porter rarely gigs in Texas so this is one night not to miss. To illustrate, we're lucky enough to catch him among a barrage of tour dates in Ibiza (where he'll play alongside Paul Van Dyk), Cairo, Zurich, AUSTIN, and Sydney. Steve has also toured internationally with Sasha, Sander Kleinenberg, Lee Burridge, and his tracks have found their way into the tracklists of Carl Cox, Mark Farina, and Derrick Carter, to name just a few.

Over the last six years, Steve has amassed a wide portfolio of over 70 singles and 28 remixes, in addition to his critically-acclaimed artist album, Homegrown, and his Porterhouse releases.

Bottomline, he's going to crank the BPMs and rock the shit.

Thanks to everyone that came out. It was a great night and Steve had a ton of fun. I took him to Whole Foods and South Congress for Amy's Ice Cream and Jo's coffee the next day. I recorded the set and will post it for everyone to check out in the coming weeks.

Saturday was super fun. We did a ton of stuff in a few hours including going to Lucy In Disguise with Diamond where I bought a blue Tutu and a crazy ass gold hat for burning man. Whole foods was good but I'm pretty sure Steve would eat whatever. We tasted some wheat grass super food stuff and I thought he was going to spit it out. Good times. Austin represent.
