Longest Starbucks adventure, ever.

Good God I am an idiot. I went to starbucks with my friend, sat there for two hours talking... and then when we got ready to leave, I went to my car and realized I had left my keys, IN MY CAR, WITH THE CAR RUNNING.

And I have two spares, one I gave to my mom, one I carry in my purse, but of course yesterday I threw my purse in my car, my key flew out, and I decided I'd find it later.

My friend (nicely) drove to my moms work in traffic and got my key (which took two hours).

I'm all buzzed on coffee and stressed and pissed at myself.

FOUR HOURS OF GAS WASTED.

if you lock your keys in your car with it on you can just call the cops and they'll open it for you. happens to me all the time, damn autolocks

No they won't for fear of damage to your car. They'll just sit with you and wait for popalock to come, or someone with your spare.

I've seen 'em do it plenty of times for customers at my work.

Good..it is hotter when the chick doesn't smoke.

Triple A? And it's easy to get cars unlocked if you have the right tools. Depending on the mechanism of a lock you'll be suprised what a household plunger/ half tennis ball can do. Other then that best thing is a fortified heart rate pump and pole.

This thread is so funny that the laughter exploded some of my internal organs instead of escaping out my mouth.

How the fuck do you leave your car WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING???

Fair enough leaving keys in the ignition, but ENGINE RUNNING???

You locked your keys in your car 20+ times? You don't deserve to have a car. And lying about a kid in the car...?

Sara, why would you be nervous? It's not the end of the world, just a bunch of gas wasted, that's all. Seriously, why overreact?

Someone could break in and just take the car. OR claim it was theirs and have someone help them open it, and just take the car. Plus like she said, 4 hours of the car running is quite a bit of gas. Yes it's "just gas" but gas isn't cheap.
