I watched a couple of videos about Sidechaining in Cubase, but I really don't like the results I have had.

does anyone uses sidechain in Cubase?

well, I'm usign SX 3 I don't know if C4 has a new feature to do Sidechain.

my doubts are

1) wich Compressor plug in is good for sidechain.
2) how do you do it? (I'm using a technique I found on Youtube, is adding a new "quadro" channel and sending the kick and the bass to this new channel with a compressor in its insert bus.)

and as I said, I really don't like the results I have had.

could you please explain how you do it?

thanks!

I used Fabfilter Pro C or Kjaerhus GAG1 for my sidechain in sx3.
