hasn't he already had Nic on GDJB just a couple of months ago?

well he's a resident at Amnesia, Ibiza every week during the summer months - so many shows are broadcasted from there so he can save some time I guess. But this is the long 8 hour solo today - a bigger event than usual.

ahh gotcha!

well, Armin's definitely behind the times starting out his set with DJ Tatana - Spring Breeze (Martin Roth Summerstyle Mix)...

he played Binary Finary - original version while he was here last weekend. The crowd went crazy - so what's your point?

That Armin's style is beginning to go south (i.e. Imagine).

Get smart with me again and I'll poke a hole in the condom without telling you.

you must be the only person that wants to hear a set that is all brand new stuff. lol I like a variety of old and new

Well technically Armin's older sets were comprised of nothing but newer stuff, maybe a little on the older side here and there, but not as much as what you hear now.

Then again, I guess it just matters on who's producing.

well I am saying WTF to why on earth is he playing "What the Fuck" right now. Now that is odd. Everything else is on point.

thats how i have always played. Old and new tracks i think its a must. You can always play a bunch of new banging stuff and have a great set but the crowd 9 times out of 10 wants to hear some old classic jams. And i even like hearing them again when i play them.

Posted by Carlos Pereira on Aug-14-2008 20:03:

That was a remix though...a little on the trancier side.

"they just strut...w0t le fock"

Posted by sharper on Aug-14-2008 20:24:

didn't sound very trancey to me. just sounded like the same mess I heard over and over again last summer lol one of those overplayed tracks the local djs loved to play.

Did anyone record this by chance

That explains a lot. It is actually the norm in EDM for people to play new music. It is the opposite of say going to a rock concert of one of your favorite bands and wanting to hear all the hits. This is electronic music and most people are dissapointed if they download one of their favorite DJs sets and say 80% of the music is the same a few months later at the club because usually people go see DJs to hear new music.
