The owners behind Londons Fabric have revealed that their new superclub at The O2 arena (formerly known as the Millennium Dome) will be called Matter. The three-floored giant is scheduled to open in September and at 32,737 square feet it will be capable of hosting up to 2,600 patrons.
Like OMG!

I am fucking excited

I dont understand why UK keep hyping these places like Millenium Stadium, London Eye, Bunkinghum Palace, Queen and stuff like that all the time.. they all are pretty ordinary.. whats the big deal?
Big clubs are mostly boring.
Well I'm going to catch Sasha's 5 hour and Digger's 7 hour sets at this venue over the next few months
Thinking about going to see Hybrid @ Fabric this month and possibly doing the Involver 2 launch party @ MOS the next night too

Terrible location for a club though, in terms of late night/early morning transport links

Originally posted by SYSTEM-J That isn't the Millenium Stadium. The Millenium Stadium is in Cardiff and is a sports stadium. It was the Millenium Dome, so named because it was built to celebrate the turn of the millenium. Nobody liked it, it became the O2 Arena and now appears to be becoming the mother of all super clubs.

Originally posted by djdk yeah the 02 is fucking huge, 10,000 cap maybe, tiesto did play there fairly recently but its more of live venue for the big bands. Matter, the new club, is going to be fucking wicked though. The guys that run Fabric really know how to run a club, just check out the line-ups for the first few weeks, http://www.matterlondon.com, Carl Cox, 5 hours of Sasha, Bedrocks 10th Anniversary with Diggers and Tom Middleton, Justice, Simian to name a few Just what London needs I am fucking excited
