Thumbs up Tropic Thunder

haven't laughed this much in a long time. movie really surpassed my expectations, came in with a so-so attitude, came out knowing my 8$ went to good use. downey did a fucking ace job and tom cruise was just brilliant. for those that like absolutely stupid comedy, go see this.

Saw it tonight. Funniest movie I've seen in theaters in a while and well worth the money.

Its 16 dollars to go to the movies?!

I pay 10 here in Atlanta and i think that is a rip off. Back home we pay 3 dollars.

3$ where? Guatemala?

Yea, around 16$. Really sucks ass.. the cinemas would probably profit by lowering the prices

$10.50 here on western Long Island, NY.

A lot of fun, the movie was. Enjoyed it more as a hybrid action/comedy flick.

Rooster Illusion.

There's a reason why Piratebay is based in Sweden...

Posted by trewqy on Aug-16-2008 20:03:

Is it better than Dark knight?

Posted by jupiterone on Aug-16-2008 21:00:

can't compare the two at all

dark knight was good, just not as good as people make it out to be. i know people that have seen it 6 times already. seriously, it's not that good

It's more like $4.50 now, and $6.00 for the IMAX. Which is still cheap as fuck when you compare it to ticket prices around the world.

But then I'll bet a $9 bill that the average Swedish wage is much higher than the average American wage...having lived in the UK and the US it really is swings and roundabouts.
