comp rules and new changes (there has been new options made for a better comp)

THE RULES AS FOLLOWS

1 sample packs are in but only for things like perks, bongoes ,drums and so on.anything else like pre made synths ,patches leads, riffs ,fx are out.

2 your fx station is now in only if pre selected sounds or not used and dont worry i can tell if people have used them because it stands out a mile.

3 any thing pre made with the software all ready installd on your studio software is out it has to be your own work.

4 percussion ,bass lines ,riff patterns ,every thing you need and sellect (pullon) to make your track work "has to be made buy yourself" and again i can tell because your shit will be over effected.

5 i will allow for deley but not reverb!

6 any genare you wish to dip in is fine but rember the more diverse you make it ie tecno nrg hard house ect can lead to some peoples not giving you credit for your work so id say stick to a genare you think people will feal ,try and complement your stile as much as poss.

7 the 17 off sept is the deadline thats a month from now. i will however give some leway to all if needid.

8 the winner wil earn themself the upmost respect for winning what is a very tuff comp " may the forse be with you "

i still don't see the point in the competition here... if you want to do a composition competition, then use basic midi...

what are you not seing the whole point is this can you make good creative tracks without reling on effects used by your vst and software program? True there is nothing to stop you using mids as a tool for sounds you have (created your self). Im not saying you do or any one else on t/a but if you stop and listin to tracks made by your fellow trance addicts and pro's, try and tell me they make there shit with out falling into the mental attuide of using pre- selects so they can make there shit work. I very much doubt it in fact i know it!

but if a track you did is not original in some respects the use of fxs won't change that so drastically, if you are trying to motivate people to be creative and make them learn the use of basic synthesis and such than just make some tutorials...

i have heard about many "pros" using presets and i don't care that much, if it sounds good and is original than what the hell?

so, in conclusion, please explain properly what you want out of the competition, because not using fxs and modelling your sounds is not a competition, its the first step (at least for me) in making a new track...

so first of all tell me this is your main or only goal when making a track is to make the best track you can by pulling on every thing to hand this will only lead to over effected tunes and if you dont mind making your shit to this standerd then fine im not sugesting your method is flawed but what would you rather have a track made up or put together in the way off someone else's sounds or a track that will stand the test of time knowing it was all your own work and not somthing that's up with the times then forgot about when a new software has been updated. so in relation to your question fellow trance addict i avocating orignalty, innovation and most of all some healthy competishion.

i can make very little sense in this post, here is a reply from what i gathered:

i make all my sounds, its all my work, thank you... i suggest you go hear my tunes beside some percs (which are as well processed to my liking) everything is crafted from scratch, please be more understandable, and read my post properly, it seems like you don't understand what i wrote.

your point from your last post but one has been noted my friend. Im not all about handing out profeshonal advice here dame im learning still myself! You still havent grasbed the consept of the task set out by this comp. In relation to( i make all my own sounds) beging me to hear your shit.As if i doubt you know how to put a good tune together. Please under stand me when i say" put your work to the test if you can make somthing worth listing to then now's the time to prove it" how else do you hope on making good connections with people ,djs and so on . try and create a buzz. if you have any ideas on how to make this a more intreasting comp please do not hesietate and come forward.iknow in gunna make my track the best i can.

a buzz is not created by the people involved but from the people around it, so no buzz here just a common "hear what ive done" for you, im not begging for anything, quite frankly you really annoy me with your replies...

every day i put my work to the test, i really don't get you.

here is a competition for you: write a symphonic piece in a MIDI file... thats a competition.

I think this member is speaking Natlife's languaje, wich I believe it's called - Garylian.
We will have to ask him to translate this for us.

Kop =o.

Haven't decided if this is a shitty alt, a top notch troll, or horribly lost in translation.

EDIT* looking at previous posts, looks to be the latter.
