I dont understand, why dont semi-bald people shave the rest off and look atleast complete..

But no they will sport the last remaining bunch on side for the rest of their lives like its a prized privledged possession.

couldn't agree more. It's kind of sad to see those who cling to those last few remaining strands rather than do themselves a favor and clean up their dome.
