SPIN in San Diego

It's official. "SPIN" is the name of our new venue in San Diego. Located at 2028 Hancock Street, SPIN is a three level purpose-built dance music friendly club that positions San Diego among the top clubbing cities in America. Thunderous sound, an unmatched vibe and an already established Who's Who List of "SPIN'ers" have initiated 'GIANT Fridays' at SPIN including Armin van Buuren, Bob Sinclar, Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, Miguel Migs, Sander Kleinenberg and Mark Farina with many more to follow. SPIN will be a very unique project to watch as it unfolds with evolving installations and new d�cor.

This Friday in San Diego� SPIN is 'in' as JOSH GABRIEL , the one half of dance music's Gabriel & Dresden, comes to San Diego for a debut set here at Spin. He will be pulling out his tricks and bringing out some classics for you to enjoy all night long at SPIN along with BORIS MD and Alan B for a perfect night of late night dance music.

ADDITIONALLY, we'll be having a hosted bar by U4RIK Vodka from 10-11pm for DISCOUNT GUESTLIST people only!

Well they cant call it "insert/eject" for the CDJ's
or "double click, click, double click" for the Serato Users.
and as for ableton....i dont know it well enough to come up with something lol

Was there... great set by Alan and Josh. Didn't get the vibe of Boris' set unfortunately so I hung out on the roof. Josh was killin it on the floor.

What did others think of it?

first time at SPIN
liked the club and sound system is intense )
i thought boris and josh rocked it with their techno and tech-house tunes. very intelligent, but yet melodic!
i also got boris's new mixed cd which is a work art. would love to find a tracklist on this one. anyone know anything about this?
can't wait to come back to see sander )

Boris' cd is def a keeper, you can ask him for his tracklist on his myspace, or i'll ask him for it and get it up here.

Spin is alot of fun!

Spin is a very cool new club--Ive been there a few times, and with the line-up thats coming up (Felix da Housecat this Friday!!) Its a great place to go and hear awesome music....

Defiantly a good place to go and check out if you have not been!
