Tropic Thunder

Anyone else think Robert Downey Jr. was amazing but Tom Cruise just wasn't all that, as everybody seems to hype him up for it?

Great movie overall!

I agree about Downey Jr... he was great but I was already oversaturated with clips and commercials of him before the movie came out. They should have shown Cruise in the commercials and left Downey Jr.'s character to surprise. I laughed through the whole movie though... it was funnier than I thought it would be. That guy that was in charge of pyrotechnics was hilarious, as well as the Stiller clips of him playing a retarded stable boy in another movie

good idea. downey did go overboard a bit a couple of times.

tom cruise totally redeemed himself as an actor as far as i'm concerned.

aweesome movie. laughed my ass off...like almost crying laughing.

i like when matthew m. has to chose between his friendship and a G5

I didnt want him to stop... I was sitting there just in awe of how far it was going, and it was coming out of Tom Cruise's mouth! And it kept going and going, I was laughing for every second of it.

yea i pretty much lost it during that whole scene with tom cruise and the terrorists calling and the G5 T-Pain song playing scene lol i hadn't laughed that hard in a really long time. granted, i smoked a j while watching it which probably helped but i still laughed pretty hard today when i watched it again sober.

i loved all of jack black's little background comments that i would pick up throughout the movie like when they were running in the jungle or in the helicopter (one of those type scenes), he was like "hey i need to get back to the hotel ok guys? i left my vitamins there" lol or "MY SKIN HURTS"
