ya pretty cool indeed, but sucks its at opera, most of the ppl wont know who the heck cox is anyways, thell go for their usual party, not knowing whos playing for them, sucks. oh well wtv, itll be a sick show annyways.

People need to have a starting point. That's why guys like PVD, Tiesto, and Ferry exist. To introduce people to EDM. Then they move on.

If you knew the amount of people who have asked me "Hey who's that DJ, this music is so better than what i usually hear".

The usual people will show up for the usual Sunday night party, most will be told to pay more than the usual... some will turn back and leave, the rest will know that they are paying for a great dj.

Then you have all the other people like us who don't show up on a Sunday night especially for carl cox.

So all in all, the majority of the crowd will know that its either cox playing or a great dj without really knowing who its... i don't see why that would be a problem, opera will kick ass that night!

Awesome booking for Montreal considering how crap it is lately...I'll go cuz it's Cox but that's the ONLY reason why.

Have a feeling this one coulda, woulda, shoulda been at Stereo (under VERY different circumstances, of course)...

yo Bertuzz it seems like they changed their page. When i pasted the link, they had a long list of upcoming events, and cox was on it. :S

October 5th no? I'm pretty sure it was a Friday night last year.

Carl Cox on Sunday at Opera is much better than a Wednesday @ 1234 (as it was 3-4 years ago?) and a Thursday @ Stereo (as it was 2-3 years ago?).

It was Carl Cox then Joachim garraud. I personally love Joachim; he is the master of the universe. Everyone has his choice and opinion .. I missed the venue can't remember why . I hope Joachim will come back!

I was there too!! Yes I remember Shannon Elizabeth hanging out at Stereo haha!

Cox was awesome that night, hadn't seen him live for years..totally worth it, great set. Garraud was so bad after, I left after 4 tracks.
