Lettuce appreciation thread

I love lettuce. It makes sandwiches and salads taste so much better. That's one vegetable I will never get tired of.

That AustrailianGQ quote in your sig is definitely a gem.

But uh, lettuce? I find it hard to even call it a vegatable. It's basically like, hard green colored water, just like celery. But I do like it on a sandwich, yeah.

Romaine FTW, iceberg FTL.

lol yeah he's hilarious. Lettuce doesn't have much of a taste but....I don't know I always want lettuce added to my sandwich or burger because it just makes it taste better. I hate celery.

i like it too. every kind. iceberg, romaine, endive, leafy spinach type, etc...

hell yea

I enjoy eating lettuce regularly. I'm a fan of all the varieties and I welcome a mixture in my salads. I'm a firm believer that too much dressing can ruin a good leaf and lettuce is best matched with several red, purple, and orange vegetables to create an appealing flavor as well as an eye-catching dish.

Iceberg is good for chicken tacos and my crab salad.

Ya lettuce on stuff (sandwiches, salads etc) is win.. but lettuce cant hold its own weight when eaten by itself.
