Steve BUG - This Sat 8/30 @ HPC

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet. I'm impressed HPC is getting the BUG here in tampa. I'm really looking forward to this. If anyone is not familiar with THE BUG, he always rocks it, look:

unfortunately I can't get a baby sitter for the little one this weekend so I can't make it. Wish I could go. Steve ripped it nicely at WMC.

ohhhhh ... they're around. lurkers. this is a VERY popular board. id say just as many people here as on tampahousemusic.com, just going by talking to people in person, a common conversational thing that often comes up is "what message boards are you on?".

just so everyone knows, this is no reverse commuter, ryan crosson, king britt or any of that boring stuff they've had before ... this is STEVE MOTHER F'N BUG. he's on the level of lee burridge or sasha that they've had earlier this year.

that track is new, it just came out.

he also will most likely play maetrik - sex with bass and hearthrob - signs (tracks i have been playing a lot lately, but he plays them much better than i can, he has a way of bringing tracks in so sneaky and smooth while making the energy and drive just keep going up and up

yeah i was going to say roar just recently came out. I heard he has been dropping Neiderflur-Amp(Original) and the new tiga track sunglasses at night(konrad black mix). Wish I could go.

I'll be there. Techno's not really my thing, but I don't think it'll be too bad.

In all seriousness, THE best vibe I've ever felt at HPC for a show. Bug played some ridiculous tracks and I've never seen that room move like it did when he dropped Spastik (Dubfire Re-work). Mayhem is right

I always have a good time at HPC. I'll say it again, best venue around minus South Florida.

And I wish Orlando had the kind of crowd Tampa does. They're so into the music. Even though minimal isn't really my thing, Tampa peeps really get into what they love. Great crowd!

i agree. this was the best snatch night since sasha.

i have been trying to get my girlfriend into minimal and the last 3 snatch nights she really did not like it, and to be honest, even i was bored at those nights. but for steve bug, she, and seemed like everyone else, really liked the set. she especially liked maetrik - sex with bass (gee i wonder why, she comes from the dark gothish rock scene, she likes anything "dirty" sounding).

i was very happy with the bug's set, but still not totally satisfied because ive seen him at wmc and on youtube vids ... compared to that this hpc set was a bit tame. what can i say im tough to please.

Stevesto, besides the Maetrik track and Spastik can you ID anything else he played that night?
