Hamlet 2

I think this movie looks fucking hilarious - written by and starring loads of my favorite sketch comics.

Probably going to see it tomorrow.

I'll plan on seeing this simply because of Steve Coogan. I've really enjoyed everything I've seen him in. His cameo part in Curb Your Enthusiasm was amazing. And also, the preview has reminded me to add David Arquette to the worst actors thread.

Not seeing anything on the IMDB page about that - but I'm also not very good at finding all the details when it comes to stuff like that.

But yeah - this movie is getting marketed much, much more heavily than I thought it would.

Says in the trailer "from the co-writer of South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut and Team America"

Ah, the infamous Pam Brady.

No wonder they advertise her as the "co-writer of ______" - I haven't a clue who the fuck she is.

the producers behind Little Miss Sunshine are behind this. should be good.

So I think I've decided that in my infinite boredom I'm going to try and make it out to see this tonight to kill some time.

Will report back once I'm back.

Posted by enydo on Sep-03-2008 20:02:

Haha, I'm actually finally getting around to seeing it tonight as well. Here's to hoping it's good!

Your mom's Mexican food is lame. Too far removed from the old country, probably.

Steve Coogan = win.
Steve Coogan with an american accent = not so much.

I thought it was excruciating. I laughed a couple times, but I mostly was just waiting to see the play (which was very good). The whole rest of the movie sucked. (besides the play at the very end), the whole thing was unimaginative, uncreative, boring, and consisted of the same recycled jokes after another (ppl getting hit in the head...... come.... on.....). I would just go watch the last hour.
