So ya .......I got married on 08/08/08

So it was a wedding that lasted 3 days.....

Day 1 event is called " Mendhi " in which the girls side comes and applies henna on the girl and same on the guys side and give money or gifts to both the bride and the groom...its more of a ritual.Plus they dont let the guy shave because when you shave on the actual wedding day (day 2) you look much nicer.

Day 2 " Nikkah and Ruksati " This is when I actually sign the marriage docs and take the bride home the actual fun part is on this day.

Mr and Mrs.Umair .....her name is Zoha for those who are curious.

Us about to leave...

Day 3 " Walima " This day all the family friends are invited for lunch or dinner in our case it was lunch.
