I was there back in 2001. Fenway was cool. There was this alley with a bunch of bars. That was kinda cool. I only hit up a few clubs, Avalon & i think the other was Axis. They were right next to each other. They werent too bad just was kinda cheap/cheesy serving drinks in plastic cups. Plus there was a ton of kids there since it was 19 to get in & 21 to drink. That was Lame. Also checked out Cheers. It was nothing like the tv show. Kinda lame.
The history walk was cool. Its a route you take in the city for a nice walk. Its well marked & takes you past alot of historic buildings & places.

Plus it was kinda cool that everywhere i went people guessed myself being from Chicago from my accent & looking Italian lol
I was like "what accent, your the one with the accent"
guys i'm not looking for suggestions on places to go that are "better" than Boston. i'm specifically asking about Boston because i'm going there to visit my brother.
yeah boston sucks the only roads in the city are all one way and they all dead end
Hang out with Mezzir. I am sure that will be fun. lol
Boston is a pretty interesting place, feels much more European than any other city I've been to on the US East Coast.
The Museum of Fine Arts has some interesting stuff and I really am not a big art buff!
If you want to go up the Prudential Center then don't go to the museum, go to the very top floor and have a drink at the restaurant/bar. Getting a drink there is cheaper than paying for the viewpoint and it has double height floor to ceiling windows.
Boston is a great walking city. The historical things in particular that you associate with the city (Fanueil Hall, Old State House etc) are all close together well except the Museum of Fine Arts!
On the food front try L'Espalier or Hammersley's Bistro in the Back Bay part of town, decent grub...
