-- Gouryella "Ligaya"

Gouryella "Ligaya"

Really dissapointed.. really, it does not sound like the
original gouryella sound.

the accords(melody) are way to diffrent from other gouryella
songs, it does not get in to your mind like "Gouryella" or
"Tenshi" or "Walhalla" .... i guess ferry cant do it by him
self and a little help from Armin, he needs Tijs.

anyways....maby some awsome remix will make it up
for it.

Where can i get a listen of this??

I really think that if there is no tiesto in Gouryella, ferry might as well give up.

i dont know, i got a radio rip from my friends FTP.

so y the then? it wont be fake but original mix may prove different cos radio rips r shite. ive not heard this yet i got 92 songs in my ag q ages 2 wait its way down the list.i dont understand y tijs quit gouryella

Well I liked the melody in the uplifting sample that everybody thought was Gouryella. Whether it really is or not, I still like whatever song it is

Btw, you guys shouldnt judge the song based on how it compares to previous Gouryella songs. If its good, its good, if its not, then its not. Ferry cant always deliver, especially when he has no partner this time and he has 3 huge anthems in his pocket.

Posted by Endre on May-27-2002 18:22:

it may be any of the theories that you guys have but
ferry should not do gouryella without tijs.

Posted by noikeee on May-27-2002 21:43:

well this one sounds extremely happy.. and I normally hate that kind of stuff.. but I actually like it. Don't ask me why, but I can't stop hearing that radio rip! but I think you guys are expecting too much from this track, no way it'll be as big as the previous Gouryella tunes..

Posted by Nastarte on May-28-2002 04:53:

if this is more talk of that min and half sample it should go onto the many threads about it in the main forum. there is enough talk about if it is real or not. don't need another thread about it. arg

i don't know i kinda think that Gouryella has proven itself to make great tracks i.e. gouryella and wallhalla. if ferry can't produce this quality on his own, then he shouldn't label them as gouryella but maybe under some other alias. i think that he should wait until he does dream up something as good as those to call it gouryella, other than that stick with a different name. note: i haven't heard ligaya yet this is just my initial reaction to what everyone is saying. so i can't give my true opinion of the actual song.

.. and what the hell is so special about Gouryella that you guys are fixated on it and just can't let go? Expand your horizons a little, the Trance world is not just about Ferry Corsten or Tiesto. These two have had their day, and are now gradually drifting off the scene, for various reasons, age and musical interests being some of them. Let's embrace newcomers, and stop living in the past! I for one never liked overly happy tunes like Gouryella and Walhalla, they always seemed kind of simplistic to me...

Eugene, you are right, i agree with you but most of the
trance maniaca had high expectations ont this one, but i like
a sed, i agree with you to 100 %, it cant allways be Ferry, tiesto and Armind.

To call Gouryella simplistic in contrast to the new mix of Join Me you found, well its and deserves

this tune is one thing : cheesy that corny melody is just a poor 100% corn factor

don't want to start a flame war here... but you seem to like raining on everybody's parade all the time....
