Need some help badly!

I have ableton live 7 and the NI audio kontrol 1. I cannot get any signal to come out of the 3/4 channels. my settings in the audio kontrol are as they should which is what makes this make no sense! their support couldn't help me so im turning to you guys! I also know it is not a bad unit as I just took it back and the new one has the same crap (not) going on! how in the hell can I get this damned thing to work!?

I have an Audio Kontrol as well but it was as easy as installing the software and plugging it in.

Stupid question but do you have the Kontrol set to 1/2 or 3/4, the button next to the phone jack?

The button next to my phone jack is the line/mic button and the corresponding input control for that.

Second of all I get audio fine through 1/2 but not so through 3/4. It just makes no sense I have tried everything
