I'm FINALLY moving to Toronto!
After living in Ajax for 20 years, Belleville for 5 and Ajax for additional 3 months... I'm FINALLY moving to Toronto.
I was originally set on living in the downtown core with no exceptions but my friend found us a fully detached 2 story house at Gerrard & Broadview - how could I say no to that? Fully detached means the very unlikely chance of noise complaints during parties
Being able to walk to guv on warm nights almost makes this entire move worthwhile.
For those that I'm friends with on here.. expect to see me out alot more
For my rabid haters on here.. expect to deal with me in person more
Vivid - I hope you come to my house warming party
I invade Toronto Sept 15th

edit: I'm hoping jon jon will play a set for the party

After Party at Kotsy's!!
keep your avatar in belleville.
hmm that area is a bit dodgy, i'm sorry to say that, a friend of mine lives in an apartment just around the corner there and I was on the streetcar and holy the houses look 200 years old
on a positive side you're still pretty close to everything
and no, I doubt you'll walk from guv
I'm closer to guv and it takes me good 20 minutes by cab

I thought you lived near college and yonge?? How can it take 20 minutes? I can walk to Guv in 20 minutes (or less) and I dont live THAT far away from you.
yeah i doubt you will want to walk that far, that's a huge distance especially at night with all the street crime, better to split on a cab or carpool, plus the area is very dodgy, stay safe mate

| Originally posted by Intangible I never said 20 minutes from Kotsys place. Kotsy has a LONG walk. And sorry Kristina I was sure you said you lived at college and yonge... but if youre a 10min walk to yonge and dundas you must live a bit further.... or we just walk at completely different speeds |
yeh you guys are slow walkers or you have short legs.
I think the key to avoiding crackheads and sketchbags when walking at night is just to move at a steady pace and look like you know where you are going. Don't walk slow because obviously you wanna get home ASAP but if you walk too fast then the crackpots can smell your fear
lol
anyway /weird tangent
congrats kotsy!
I just moved to T.O and I have been back home twice already lol
you'll miss your bumfuck town and family more than you think
It's a big city... I get lost almost every day
study maps before leaving your place lol
