Ipod woes
so it finally happened, my Ipod got lost (most likely stolen) on labor day after a day at the beach. after more than 2 years of good service, my most prized possession is gone, probably now in the hands of some clown browsing through names like elevation, funabashi, breakfast & maor levi with eyes wide open, wondering if this ipod came from mars. I blame myself, I can't think of a pickpocket who could slip that out of my pocket easily with its silicon case, but you never know. then again I've also been careful with my ipod; I've never lost it once even while traveling overseas moving from place to place, or even when in a state of complete
I'm sure there are many on this board who can relate to losing or breaking an ipod. I've looked up ipod security and saw that they have designed chewing gum cases and walkman cases to disguise your ipod but those are only for the nanos. any ideas on ipod security measures, besides always keeping it in your hand 24/7? I mainly keep it in my pocket..
my 4gig got jacked the other day from my car...
sucks but oh well. it could have been worse, they could have jacked my 30gig
my 4gig had some classics ASOT episodes on it
that sucks what happen to you guys ipods id be pissed as hell if some took my 30gig but i did catch one of my friends trying to still it for drug money that why me and him are no longer friends hope u guys get new ones
A friend did not lose his ipod.. but he did lose 80gigs of music once.
He worked so hard to build up the collection.. he was at the house of one of his friend's parents and decided to add their Michael Buble collection to his ipod.
Long story short.. that corrupted his ipod and he had to reset it.
Good luck getting a new one... I hate losing things that I like.

yes, sux to lose the ipod, I felt like I lost my better half. my face was long and sad since then--til I got a new one the day after, lol. had to break the bank, but that's how it goes.. however, I had to look at the bright side--at least I didn't lose my hard drives like was mentioned in this thread, I can't even think about that. I'd Never be able to remember or recover all the music I have stored in there. also, my ipod did last me over 2 yrs with daily use, so it did use up its value a while ago. yeah, right, it still sux to get it stolen : (
the one I lost was a 60GB U2 special edition ipod video, which was full to the brim and which I would actually get some value for if I sold it now. the new one is an ipod classic 160GB, I'm not fkg around with space issues anymore, I fill the thing up every wk. still, losing an ipod can be devastating..and a fkg pain to add all those tracks/sets again
