BURNING MAN: Pictures & Video's from my sets :)
I must say that... DJ'ing at Burning Man this year was one of the most amazing times that I ever had in the past 13 years of my career... The video's don't really capture the energy but you can still get an idea of the shannigans that took place. This was going to be my last year but after this past one I may have to go back just one more time
By the way if anyone has pictures of videos from Tuesday night at Opulent Temple please send my way.. I can't believe I forgot my camera that night

looks insane the track ur playin is sick sounds so familiar

damn! i missed it again
I'll post some pics once my friends upload them, my shitty camera never made it out of the ziploc bag. I stopped by the Deep End once but only stayed for about half an hour before we wandered off back to camp to pick up our friends, party supplies, and try to find some breaks. Not really my scene but it was definitely going off if that's your thing (very LA/Ibiza-esque) and right as we were leaving someone dropped Spooky - Stereo (which is one of my favorite songs ever).
my favorite parties were the whole night of the False Profit party, god damn those people know good music and that whole night/morning was probably the most significant and life-affirming night I've ever experienced. Bassnectar, An-ten-nae vs Laura, both at root society, that place was motherfucking nuts all night. carl cox was great, he's got to be the most intense and happy DJ I've seen take the decks, literally throwing records down onto the turntables with the biggest grin on his face. night of the burn we were all over the place, saw Freeland at opel but left when Syd Gris went on, wandered off across the playa in search of awesome, later on ran into a renegade at the tetris blocks on the way back over to check out nexus, saw a bit more at opel then went to the temple for sunrise. but the music is only such a tiny piece of that whole incredible experience, you really just have to go out there with the right kind of people and see it for yourself.

amazing videos!!!!!
most of the pics I've gotten from friends so far are just of our camp and people in it doing goofy shit, not many party pics, but I'll share a couple. Burning Man is all about the people...

Me at the top of a 40ft tall lift that we got a ride on after mooning the owners
Alan and Meagan dancing at The Deep End
Crashing on the trampoline after a long night

I found two more videos during my set at Opulent Temple...

for those that have gone, what do you think about replacing ice with dry ice? You could carry less and be more effective with keeping things cold.
I hope to go next year. We will see.
For those that went this year, what was your budget, how much did you spend including airfare, car rentals, everything really.
