I've been waiting to see Markus in Montreal again since they announced him playing at Stereo a little while back. Too bad he didn't get booked there, I would have loved to see that. He plays the next day in Toronto, 6 Hour GDJB set. I'm thinking about making the trip down there... Red Lite is alright, but we really need Stereo back in action.

I really wanted to see Markus Schulz for a while now.
But can't afford to do Quebec - Mtl too often :/...

Even at RedLite it will be a nice party.

RED LITE is a good place !

This party will rock for sure anyway !

Go for the man , not for the peoples guys !

Make your own party , Red Lite as so much to offer , good lighting show , a good sound systeme as well and plenty of place to dance!

Mix that with some laval hot girl , we are all in business.

It`s Makus Schulz Dammit !

Anyway Music is The Answers !

I agree! There are even some NYTA's coming down for it. Got room in you car? I wanna go!

Posted by dutty.persian on Sep-19-2008 14:21:

I'm going to this for sure. I just wrote a 3 days exam, called the UFE. now I have to party.

Last time he came to montreal though I had a bad experience. He played at 7 am at the bell centre, for stupid resolution. who the hell pushes back house that late? which dumb ass thought trance is only good at 7 am???

Posted by Nekya on Sep-25-2008 19:22:

Posted by dutty.persian on Sep-26-2008 18:21:

oh man, i was there at sander van doorn also. bathrooms were awful.
my advice to you is to go to the bathroom before 3am, bring ur own toilet paper and soap and a towel. lol
someone should tell red lite management to get a cleaning crew.
either way, gonna be awesome!

Hey... got there around 3 for Markus set (he did 4-7). The place was not too packed, found it even a bit empty from 6. Venue was good, is the laser broken or they choose not to use it ? Markus set was ok, but I like a bit more "fast" trance; the guy was a bit too roller coaster for my taste; at some point he was playing really slow before going up again... He did throw some good trance classics tough, like Airwave... he finished off with some version of Madagascar (i love this track !!).

i thought his set was decent. he played rather fast/hard trance. very true that the dance floor wasn't packed. i hope that doesn't mean that trance is having a hard time making it in montreal.

why doesn't he spin what he plays on his radio shows?

Totally agree, I have seen him twice ( @ resolution and Guvernment last year) and in both sets he was very different that his GDJB style which we all like Markus for

@ Trancission & dutty.persian

I Have seen Markus live 15 times, only the first time i seen him live in late 2005, his live set as almost the same as his GDJB, after that the other 13 times in 2006 2007 and 2008 All of his live set is so different from his GDJB, he only play a few track from his GDJB during his Live Set, But his recent live @ ARMANI EXCHANGE STORE in Toronto EATON CENTRE, he has spin many GDJB tracks!
