lil wayne is he great or all hype?

lil wayne aka weezy f baby aka birdman's son. pretty solid musical skills and he puts out some quality tracks to smoke bongs too but i took a trip out to the west coast this spring while i was on break and soooo so many people ripped on him. maybe it's an east coast thing. and i guess you kind of have to like his style of goofball/gangster rap.
