so I'm a heavy ableton user
never had a real DJ gig

but suppose I get one, will I be provided the main speakers, or will I need to lug my own (if I had one) to the gig

and what connections do I need to feed the sound into the main outs? I have an m-audio fast track pro, has 4 unbalanced RCA outs and 2 balanced TRS outs. Is that good enough?

I plan on doing all the mixing in Ableton via axiom 49 MIDI controller so I'm not looking for a mixer at the moment (fast track pro has headphone out monitoring)

You shouldn't have to take speakers for a proper DJ gig. Your set-up also sounds fine if you use it well and know how to and it's easy to set it up properly with a big club system.
