I first heard thsi track @Loveparade 2000, when Piet dropped it, before it came out. I believe the offered it in one of the b-sides to Deejays, Fans & Freaks. Not sure which one though, as they had a couple different vinyl releases of that song. Good luck, I always thought this track was under-appreciated.

This track came out with the DJ Culture album... EVen though it was made quite a while before DFF, it sounds like a lame copy of it IMO...

This song is a little on the cheesey side, but its still awesome. It was originally on the DJ Culture album in 2000 and then it saw a 2001 release as a single.

Story behind this track and DFF is the following!

Sound Of Machines was an album track from the "DJ Culture" album, after release of the album, a lot of people wanted this song as single but at this time "DJ Culture" was already set as single. After DJ Culture, Blank & Jones cahnged the record company, so that it was not possible to release "Sound OF Machines" anymore, but Sound Of Machines could and got also a release as single in Italy and The Netherlands (as double A with DJ Culture!)

For the german marked they made then a song that was in the same style as Sound Of Machines and that is now DFF !!!

Thats why the 2 songs sound not so different!
