to any MODERAATOR...

The onyl reason I am posting this is because it may be applicable to any of us.. Heres the scenario: My signature consisted of 4 images. It is my understanding that no image may be over 500 pixels wide and 150 tall.... What I did was this: took each of four images, shrunk them down to an acceptable size and condensed them into one image. The overall filesize is "legal" if they were all separate images as well as the image sizes. Does it really matter that it is pressed into one or do I need to up 4 different images..

*Note* no, i am not whining I just want to clear this all up and think its all the same... and, hey, one image loads faster than 4, plus my big one is smaller in size.

thank you for a decisive response anyone!

Satan (eek!)

oh man, DO i hate those new rules already... why do we need them anyways? if someone doesn't want sigs, they can just disable them... at least u could've come up with less strict rules... i mean c'mon the height of 150 pixels?? it is just ridiculous... make it 200px at least

Please refer to the announcment HERE and that should answer questions.

Basicly sigs were getting out of hand with massive long lists of fav dj's, fav track's, request's, AG links etc etc so steps had to be taken to reduce loading time, overall veiwing of the threads and consideration to ppl on 56k.

All the info required is in the signature editor along with the rules.

Your signature is too big, it goes way beyond the smaller bar in length, the image restriction shows the max size of an image that would fit in your sig and still have the longer bar be above the shorter bar.

The size of 50k comprises the max allowable bytes for the TOTAL amount of images in the sig.. I guess I better add that too.

but the longer bar is above the shorter bar... i think this:
quote:
* The long bar ^^ above ^^ MUST NOT go BELOW the small bar on the right

is really confusing because after all this stuff I dont really know what it is supposed to mean.... well, I don since Swamper told me, but it is a confusing wording..,. i thought that there were layers or something that allowed the shorter bar to move like a guage to tell you how much height you had left to put in there.. anyways, maybe a re-wording would be in order, maybe like: "sig cannot go below this bar."

whatever, ill change it anyways.......
