New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to miss the rest of the 2008 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to a source familiar with the injury.

While New England coach Bill Belichick said in his postgame press conference that he had no update on the status of Bradys injury, two sources indicated it involved serious damage to the knee.

Its bad, a team source said. Were going to have to play without him.

I still don't understand where the information is coming from and every article I've seen says there is only a single source saying he's out for the season for now.

Meh. It isn't as if I care anyway. I never got on board with the whole "I love/hate the Patriots" bandwagon you seem to have found yourself on.

The folks who hate him (and the Pats in general) are every bit as sad and annoying as those who love them.

Well now this season is completely over for me

Matt Cassell - system quarterback #2. everything is gravy.

What is all this crap with the reporters sucking on his knob? His injury is gonna hurt all of the NFL? How? Maybe they should just cut the season short right here if hes that important to the league? What is this nonsense.

Good thing I've got Matt Schaub as my backup in Fantasy... oh wait.

Gotta love people who used Tom Brady as their 3rd overall pick in fantasy.

Oh wow, that's fucked...

I wonder how many folks relatively high up on their league waiver wires snapped up Cassel last night.

Not that I expect him to produce too much, but come on - with that offensive line and Randy Moss, Dan Majkowski could have an MVP season.

I don't know. I just know better than to over-value the stock of a good QB. But idiots will still pick him up 3rd overall anyways.

I did in two leagues.

The only league I had Brady in was a keeper league - I drafted him 4th round last season, so I suppose I can't complain too much.
