Oasis Attacked on stage in Toronto Last Night - V-Fest Review
V-Fest was awesome! Except for the assault on Noel G from Oasis.
Deadmou5 and Moby killed it! Lee Burridge was wicked too!
Wish all that would have been in the headlines.... Instead we have this video:
Video
"Guitarist Noel Gallagher of the English rock group Oasis was attacked while playing on stage Sunday evening at Toronto Island Park.
Oasis was midway through its headlining set at this years Virgin Festival when a man rushed the band from the side of the back-stage area and pushed Gallagher during the 1995 hit Morning Glory.
Security personal apprehended an unnamed intruder who was later charged with assault.
After a short break, Oasis did return to the stage to complete the concert, performing wistful hits Dont Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall and three other songs before finishing with the Beatles I Am the Walrus.
However, the mood of the performance and of the crowd was notably subdued upon the shows resumption."

I have never and probably will never make so many god damn mojitos in my life. 12 hour days no break.
well five minutes to talk to Lee Burridge in the back until I got told to get back to work.
But overall, heard Doman and Pettigrew for the first time and was super impressed, tough crowd though. I think it was a combination of the break dancers and the time of day their slot was but it seemed no one was dancing to the serious beats that were being dropped. or they're just not house lova's.
Lee Burridge was excellent, but I hate how he only had a 1 hour set. Never really noticed how CRAZY his eyes are until this weekend. They resemble clouds in the sky. no joke. Love how he played My Release, and it was kinda funny for me because it was the track I was listening to from Global Underground 19 in the car as I pulled into the parking lot before the festival.
Umm. Moby really impressed me. Didn't realize he played so hard. When he dropped Porcelain I stopped making whosever drink I was making, closed me eyes for a sec and had a moby moment dancing around with a co-worker. <3
Deadmau5... made out with a chick who jumped up on stage! lol. I wonder how Sydney feels about that?
Musically: I guess it wasn't the right place for him.!
Sydney actually pumped up the crowd. I've never been a big fan. But I know others love her. I actually didn't mind her set at all.
Wish I got to check out more of the festival but whatevs. I had a blast and even if I don't work next year, I will definitely go and Jam depending on the line-up.

Deadmau5 always has some random girl with him.
quotes from last night:
Lee Burridge: "Computer mixing is like fucking with a condom.....theres not alot of feeling there".
Mr. Raymond Thomas (pointing to girl beside meand whispering): "Hey Liam, that girl kinda looks like you."
Me: "Umm...probably cos thats my sister?"

I asked someone from work about this and she was backstage and saw EVERYTHING...
the bacardi tent was jammed apparently!

DEADMAU5 FTW!!!!!
Now that i got that out of the way my thoughts .... review Sheldon styles
This was my first event since i gave up the little extras in the scene and after a much need break i felt i was ready to come out and see if its still with a new perspective on things.
Let me tell this one of my favorite events of the summer and it didn't start out so well with the bad weather.

Since the weather wasen't up to par with being outside me and my friends decided to make a quick stop in the good 'ol Comfort Zone to visit my fav gal in the world
Zone Powers Unite!!!

Greg Gow was playing some classics and dirty beats and the place was a third full at most but it was fun to finally get to dance after not being out for a while, saw a bit of Joee Conns as well he was doing a good job aswell.... let me tell you that 5hr energy shot stuff kicks you like an angry horse i was so wired!!!!
When the rain passed we head to Vfest!

We made it there just in time for Lee Burridge, who looked like he was having a tone of fun behind the decks, great energy awesome track selection over all just what i expected form him sheer GOLD!!

Up next was Deadmau5 !! Who started off with a live performance with MC flipside of "Hi friend" witch got the crowed moving and i thought it was really well done. I have to say this is one of my favorite Deadmau5 sets to date, from a solid track selection that had some nice dirty bass lines to fav Mau5 classics with a twist
To booth antics, attention whores, a spilly dj, to djing backwards, to bringing his mom on stage overall Jole put on a great show 10/10!!!
p.s hi freind

Backwards style!!!

Up next was Moby who suprises me evrytime, because all his interviews hes so chill and calm. But this man bring the noise when he Dj's he played rather a faster pace then i expected with high enegry trakcs and anwesome crowd interaction and just a solid set all around.

Ovearl all I had a Blasty Blast and this was one of my favorite events of the summer i will come back for sure in years to follow
It was great to run into a few familiar faces i miss everyone so much. <3 <3 <3 ...Here are some other fun pics form Sunday Shananigans
